Beloved husband of Mary Lyons for 26 years and the late Dirkje “Vicky” Suuring for 23 years;, father of Florine Carter and Tim Lyons; grandfather of Jennifer and David Carter; brother of the late Rosalie Lyons Burns; stepfather of Karen Cooper, Charles, Frances and the late Richard Kimball; stepfather in law of Laurie Kimball; stepgrandfather of Alicia, William, Matthew, Anne, and Catherine Kimball. Memorial service at Grace Episcopal Church, 1607 Grace Church Road, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, May 30 at 3 pm. Inurnment Parklawn Memorial Park.
