On Thursday, May 28, 2009, Robert H. Egan of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Patricia M. Egan and the late Ramona M. Egan; father of Dr. Thomas J. (Barbara) Egan, Mary C. Egan and Robert H. Egan, Jr.; grandfather of Elizabeth Egan Collins, Matthew T. Egan, Ian Egan, Alec Egan and Keely Boyle; great-grandfather of Emily R. Collins, Grace Collins and Kate Egan; step-father of Catherine Snowden, James Gannon, Patrick Gannon, Matthew Gannon and Moira Denson. Also survived by 6 step-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904 on Monday, June 1, at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Scholarship Fund, in memory of Robert H. Egan.
