On Tuesday, August 31, 2010, of Gaithersburg, MD. Beloved husband of the late Mary S. DeSimone; father of Marie D. Head, Amelia L. DeSimone, Stephanie R. Smith, Anthony J. DeSimone, Jr., Edward C. DeSimone and Ralph P. DeSimone; brother of Albert C. DeSimone. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Washington, DC. Memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus, Fr. Rosensteel Council #2169, 9707 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
