Beloved husband of the late Ann Arkin; father of Phillip (Margie), Stephen(Sue), Douglas (Mary Pat), and the late Marilyn Arkin; grandfather of Brad (Carolyn), Janna, Nick, Patrick, Alex, Jimmy, Emily, and Kathryn Arkin; great-grandfather of Jackson Arkin; and brother of William Arkin and Lorraine Weinberger. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, on  Friday, July 17, at 12:30 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
