On Saturday, March 7, 2009, GILDA AMELIO, of Silver Spring, MD.   Beloved wife of the late Angelo C. Amelio; mother of Tony S. (Arlene Waters) Amelio, Carmela A. (Ken) Cowgill and Elena A. (Bobby) Steele; grandmother of Sheri Leigh, Deborah Lynn, Peter Jonathan, Megan Amelio and Robert Mitchell, Jr.; great grandmother of 4; sister-in-law of Settina Serra, Jenny Serra, Dora Mele, Josephine Serra and Gina (Frank) Grisolia; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
